5-Year-Old Car Thief Could Be The Youngest Hit-And-Run Suspect

Just when we thought we'd seen it all with the 6-year-old who stole his mom's minivan to go to the grocery store and the 7-year-old boy who drove 20 miles to see his dad, another little guy might have broken the youngest car thief record.

On Friday July 23rd, around 1 a.m., a 5-year-old boy stole his mom's minivan. He managed to drive it for about a mile before crashing into a pole. The police arrived shorlty after but the little boy ran away. He wasn't that hard to catch and when questioned, explained that he wanted a candy bar.

No one was injured, police brought the boy back to his mom and no charges are pending. But we're guessing the little guy is unlikely to get his candy bar anytime soon.
