The 7 Best Coupon Sites for Moms

Are you overwhelmed by the "deals" that come your way every day? Newspapers, magazines, and email inboxes are glutted with offers for everything from car tires to vacations in the Bahamas. Everybody loves a bargain, but some coupon sites are better than others. Several Circle of Moms groups devote lots of time to sussing out the best places to clip coupons for the best deals on food, clothing — and, of course, kids' gear. Here are their top choices.

Krazy Coupon Lady

The "Krazy" Coupon Lady is pretty aptly named. An extreme coupon site, it offers a window into building a whole lifestyle around couponing. Instead of making a grocery list for what you need to cook dinner, for example, you create menus based on what's on sale. Shannon L. loves the site because it reports sales before they are advertised on other sites.

Hip2Save

Billed as "not your grandmother's coupon site," Hip2Save was founded by a mom of three who needed to re-invent her budget. The site offers hourly updates and daily emails tailored to your specific interests. Betty G. loves this site because it offers tips on the best places to redeem both online and in-store coupons.

WeUseCoupons

This free site requires registration, but once you're in you have access to discussion forums in which users ask questions and advise others about how best to use coupons. There's even a forum for posting deal discoveries. Nikki J. likes this site because there is equal emphasis on national and regional deals.

RetailMeNot

Alyssa M. says this site is a go-to for its deals on big national brands, such as Kohl's, Vitamin Shoppe, and Urban Outfitters. The site claims to have coupons for 100,000 online stores, and to cover everything from groceries to clothing to electronics.

$5 Dinners

This food and cooking site offers coupons, but it's also a resource for how to use the coupons you glean from other sources. Christina W. has been couponing for 10 years, and she loves the site's recipes and tips for cooking in bulk with sale items. Tracy S. loves that the site has a gardening section.

Smart Canucks

If you live in Canada, check out Smart Canucks, where Myrna D. and other Canadian moms get deals at regional, national and online stores.

Kind Coupons

Jennifer M. suggests Kind Coupons for both its deals and its philanthropy. The site donates 50% of its profits to charity. Proceeds are currently going to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund.
