See How One 7-Week-Old Baby Reacts to Hearing For the First Time

We've seen plenty of videos of kids hearing for the very first time, but we've never seen one of an infant having a cochlear implant turned on for the first time. You would think it wouldn't be that big a deal, because the baby hasn't gone that long without hearing. But after seeing 7-week-old Lachlan Lever have his hearing aid turned on, you'll be moved to tears, just as his mom and we were.

"When they turned the headphones on and Lachlan smiled and his face lit up, it was the most magical thing I'd ever seen in my life," the boy's mom, Michelle Lever, told the Daily Mail Australia.
