This Back-to-School Party Will Get Everyone Excited For School

If you've wandered the aisles of Target in the past week or so, you're probably getting back-to-school jitters just as I am. I went in to purchase additional sunscreen for our Summer weekends at the beach only to find the sunscreen, beach umbrellas, and coolers replaced by crayons, notebooks, and backpacks — a real bummer for my kids. But if I turned back-to-school season into a party, like this one, everyone's attitude toward the red brick building may be adjusted.

With arithmetic-themed, chocolate-covered Oreos, "morning glory" muffins, apple cake pops, classroom-themed seat backs, and cafeteria tray place settings, back-to-school takes on a much sweeter tone. We love just about every detail of this adorable party, which was prepared by Paterson, NJ-based Petite Seats, a child-sized furniture company. Best of all, many of the party's fun details can be done on their own, be it a snack thrown in a lunch box on the first day of school or a place setting at dinner one night. Read on to see all of the fun details used to get kids excited about the upcoming school year. Source: Oh Experience Photography via Two Bright Lights
