Breakfast Is Served! A Sweet Pancakes and Pajamas Birthday Party

Aug 6 2014 - 12:02pm

When Krista O'Byrne's daughter turned 2, the owner of Hoopla Events [1] and her team planned the cutest pancakes and pajamas birthday party that we've ever seen — or heard of, for that matter. The birthday girl's favorite breakfast food is pancakes, and most kiddos love sporting their jammies all day, so this theme had us at hello. But to top it off, the pink and turquoise color scheme is bright and cheery, and all the fun details are simply divine. Got an older child? Still check it out, as this party would even be perfect for a wide range of ages (heck, I might ask for a pancake and pajama party at my next birthday) — so scroll on to see this adorable celebration in action.

Milk Bottles

Rarely do we see a party where there is actual milk in the milk bottles, but the beverage pairs perfectly with the theme (and for the age group).

Dessert Table

Even a breakfast-themed party needs a dessert table, and this one takes the pancake. The team used party paper from Smash Cake & Co. [17] as the backdrop and added a darling birthday banner from the printable collection, while large birthday balloons framed the dessert table. Stems Floral [17] made the floral bouquets and filled the jars with cereal.

Polka-Dot Party Favors: Cookies and Candy

Party favors were a pancake cookie from The Sugar Canvas Boutique Bakery [25] in polka-dot favor bags with a thank you tag. Krista said, "We love using ceramic letter dishes at parties. At our pancakes and pajama party, we used these dishes to spell out the birthday girl’s name and we filled each dish with candy." And at the end of the party, the guests took home small bags of candy along with their cookies.
