It only took a day for the world to take notice of a little boy with a severe immune system disorder who's asking people to wear yellow in his honor. Earlier this month, 5-year-old Seth Lane's parents posted a video to their #WearYellowForSeth Facebook page featuring the tot holding up yellow signs asking people to support him as he prepares for a second bone marrow transplant by wearing yellow on March 27 and posting the photos with the #WearYellowForSeth hashtag. The video already has more than 2.5 million views.

The Northamptonshire, England, tot has severe combined immunodeficiency, a condition that is often referred to as "bubble boy" disease. He lives in the sterile environment of the hospital where doctors and visitors must scrub in and wear plastic gowns before entering his room. He has been in the hospital since January, and after his operation, he will have to spend another year in the sterile room.

His parents are chronicling the family's journey on their Our Little Hero blog. About the campaign, Seth's mom said, "#WearYellowForSeth is something we'd like to do to be able to show Seth all the people in the world that are thinking about him. We have a map of the world in his room and will pin all the countries where people have posted a picture from. Also we will be printing some off and putting them up in his room. Whenever he is struggling (which is rare to be fair) we can show him your pictures."

According to his mom, the family is overwhelmed with the public support they have received. "We never meant to start any sort of campaign, and only expected friends and family to join in. I can't believe it has taken off like this. It is overwhelming."

We don't know about you, but we'll be wearing yellow on the 27th!
