The "Call Me Maybe" Breastfeeding Parody You Need to Watch

If you only just got Carly Rae Jepsen's 2012 hit "Call Me Maybe" out of your head, prepare for the catchy tune to return to your brain . . . but we promise it's for good reason.

The latest parody music video is about how "it's not crazy" to breastfeed your baby in public, but what makes it more interesting is that it was created by nonmothers. Students at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada, partnered with the Building a Breastfeeding Environment support group back in October to create the video, which resurfaced this week.

"We know that although many students in university are accepting of the benefits of breastfeeding, and plan to breastfeed their own children, it is still not considered acceptable to breastfeed publicly," the video's creators said on their YouTube page.

We applaud the students for tackling the surprisingly still-contentious subject matter and for their perspective on how many women don't realize just how normal breastfeeding really is until they have a baby of their own: "before you came into my life, I was just like you / didn't know what to do / when I saw the boob."

Now try to get that out of your head.
