Chipotle Kicks Mom Out For Dirty Diaper

Mom Changes a Dirty Diaper at Chipotle?!

Chipotle supports local farmers and organic foods, but its attitude toward kids is coming into question. While dining with her 16-month-old at one of the chain's Midwest locations, a mother realized her daughter needed a new diaper. She headed to the restroom, but when she saw that there was no changing table, she decided to change the diaper in the dining area. This did not sit well with Chipotle employees, who told the mother she would have to leave if she needed to change another diaper.

But the battle didn't end there. When the mother told her husband, Chad, about the incident, he sent an angry letter to Chipotle's headquarters. In the letter, Chad acknowledges that his wife's actions were "unsavory" and apologizes for any inconvenience it caused. But after the pleasantries, he chastises the company for its "inability/unwillingness to empathize with parents" in this situation.

As this story makes its way around the Internet, many people — including parents — have mixed reactions. While some say changing a child at a table is "no big deal," others are appalled and note that there are alternatives, like placing a mat on the bathroom floor or standing your child up to change them. Where do you stand on the issue?
