*Taps Mic* Croissant Corsages Exist, So What the Hell Are We All Doing Wearing Wrist Flowers?

Ahem, please pardon the interruption, but I need to pause your busy day for a very important announcement: corsages made out of croissants are now a thing, and yes, I'm already looking into enrolling in high school again now that I have a reason to attend the prom once more. If you have a prom-bound teen — or a wedding, bridal shower, or any other fancy event, really — Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen has turned its signature honey butter croissants into a wrist accessory and even went the extra mile by involving a nearby florist to surround the flaky pastry in roses and baby's breath.

"Such similar words, yet so, so different! But now, they don't have to be — especially when they go so well together!" reads Cheddar's website. "Give your prom date a corsage they'll never forget!"

Unfortunately, for many of us, Cheddar's croissant corsages are only available for purchase through the chain's Dallas location. However, if you are local, to get your hands wrist on one in time for a prom night, your order must be placed before 5 p.m. on Tuesday the week of the event and can be picked up at Petals and Stems in Dallas on either Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. or Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. The corsage will run you $20, but Cheddar's is apparently on a mission to make everyone's day better and will also throw in a $10 gift card to use at one of its locations whenever you'd like.

The honey butter croissants are four for $3 normally, so I guess we'll be buying 12 more pastries with our gift cards, should we make it down to Dallas in time for the promotion . . .
