And you thought your carpool was complicated? Jim Howe, a Tennessee father, was arrested at his children's school during end-of-the-day pickup. Last week, Howe arrived at South Cumberland Elementary School to pick up his children. The school's policy requires parents to wait in a line of cars before the final bell. Howe claims this causes "traffic to be backed up over a mile on a busy highway," putting students in an unsafe situation. When he went to express his frustration, Howe got into a heated argument with the on-site sheriff, which resulted in his arrest for disorderly conduct.
