Day Care Charged With Running a Toddler Fight Club

Another week, another day care is facing criminal charges, this time for running a "Fight Club." The star fighters? Toddlers between the ages of 4 and 6.

According to the prosecutors, footage of group melees and one-on-one battles was captured on Snapchat, with teachers egging the children on to push and shove one another. The reason behind this violence may have been influenced by the Brad Pitt and Edward Norton film.

An employee, Erica Kenny, 22, was heard in the video clips referencing the popular movie to encourage children to fight, prosecutors said. She has since been fired, along with another teacher, and faces fourth-degree child abuse and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child charges.

Although none of the children were injured in this specific incident, officials are investigating to see if the fights took place on more than one occasion. "It's making me freak out. I am concerned," one mom with a 3-year-old at the center said. "I'm shocked and disgusted." So are we.
