Megan Leigh, mommy and photographer of Genie Leigh Photography, has seen Disney's Frozen with her daughter three times. So it's no surprise that her budding 5-year-old wanted her birthday party to feature Elsa, her favorite character from the animated film. Luckily, paired with some creativity, the icy songstress's look provides for wonderfully delightful party decor: blue, white, snowflakes, and sparkles. Megan and her husband made their daughter's dreams come true with this tasteful and fun Winter wonderland fit for a princess. And why not go all out? As the proud mom said, "There is a little window in childhood where make believe is real. A princess wand really makes you a princess. Colors are brighter. Moments last forever. And Daddy making your cake is the best thing ever!" Scroll down to see the magic for yourself.

The Homemade Cake

The Homemade Cake

The birthday girl's dad takes the cake for dad of the year, as this was the third year he made her cake from scratch. Yup, scratch. Megan said, "It was incredible to watch it all come together. He worked for hours cutting out little snowflakes. The tea lights hidden behind the large snowflakes added the perfect finishing touch."

Those cupcakes are pretty darn cute, but the cake was everyone's favorite part of the party. The first time the birthday girl saw her Frozen snowflake cake, she ran in circles and screamed, "I love it, Daddy!"

Megan said, "We put twinkle lights behind each snowflake and the ruffle tablecloth to add some magic." And that tablecloth? To die for.

Megan, a photographer, got double-duty use out of her backdrop. Naturally she paired up the background with that adorable Matilda Jane Clothing Emilia Dress ($46) and Orange Beaded Necklace/Bracelet ($7) for her daughter's fifth year photo shoot. What a great idea!
