Tom Brady Received a Congratulatory Tweet From an Unlikely Source — His Eldest Son's Mom

When the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl, we knew we'd see a number of congratulatory tweets come their way, but there's one that stuck out from the rest, as it came from Bridget Moynahan, Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady's ex.

Congratulations to the @Patriots! Sweet #4.

In early 2007, several weeks after breaking up with Brady, Moynahan learned she was pregnant. By that time, Brady was already dating Gisele Bündchen and the couple had no plans to get back together. Seven years later, there's apparently no hard feelings, as not only did Moynahan cheer on her child's father after his big win, but she's also been seen chatting it up with Bündchen on the sidelines of her son's soccer games and having park playdates with Bündchen and Brady and their son.

Anyone who's been through a divorce (or read a celebrity tabloid) knows just how nasty the process can be. Between custody battles and dividing your assets, some couples turn separation into an all-out war. Yet there are some who manage to put their differences aside and keep the peace for the sake of their children. Check out 10 famous former couples who have played nice despite their divorce.

After three years of dating, Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan broke up, but they would soon learn that they would never be out of each other's lives — weeks later, after Brady had already begun dating Gisele Bündchen, Moynahan learned she was three months pregnant with the ex-couple's son, Jack. Fast-forward seven years, and not only can Moynahan and Bündchen be found on the sidelines of Jack's soccer games, but following the Patriots' Super Bowl win, Moynahan tweeted:

Congratulations to the @Patriots! Sweet #4.

The "all-in-this-together" parenting philosophy is one that all of the involved parties have subscribed to. Bündchen told Vanity Fair, "I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child. I feel like it is, 100 percent." Meanwhile, Moynahan has said, "My son has two loving parents in an extended family, whether it's cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends. My son is surrounded by love."
