See Which States Have the Longest (and Shortest) Waiting-Room Times

It's a struggle every mom has dealt with at least once. You arrive at the pediatrician for your scheduled appointment only to find yourself sitting in the waiting room with a sick and impatient child. However, a new study shows that in some sates patients must wait longer than in others. Using patient-reported wait times from a data base of more than 870,000 doctor's offices, Vitals found that the average US wait time is 20 minutes, 16 seconds. The company used that same information to calculate the average wait time per state and found that patients in several states are forced to wait a bit longer than normal.
