"When I was pregnant with my first, I had this urge to create things. I'm not sure why, but one day I purchased a canvas and some paints. I cut out a photo of a baby from a magazine and attempted to paint the picture on my piece of canvas. The crazy thing is that I had never painted anything before that and I haven't since. My family thought I was crazy. It didn't turn out that bad considering I usually draw stick-figure people. I was sure my son would be an artist, but no such luck. He is 13 and hated to even color as a young child. I wish I still had the painting to share.
