Family Honors Son With a Superhero Funeral

Like so many little boys, Brayden Denton loved superheroes. So when the 5-year-old lost his battle to brain cancer earlier this month, his mother thought it was fitting to give her son a one-of-a-kind funeral. Rather than don the traditional black suit and tie, Staci Denton asked the pallbearers to dress as her son's favorite superheroes. The six men, which included Brayden's cousin Cory, wore the uniforms of Spider-Man, Thor, the Hulk, Superman, Iron Man, and Batman.

"The whole time I saw them carrying Brayden he was probably up there going, 'This is so cool,'" Denton told the New York Daily News. "That was his world. That's what he would have wanted."
