A Family's Christmas Wish Granted on the Rosie Show

Can you imagine being a single mom and losing first your job and then your home? That's Illinois-raised Maureen Chytil's story, but while talking about homelessness as a guest on the Rosie Show, it took a surprise turn. Chytil was given the best Christmas present she could have ever hoped for: the keys to a two-bedroom apartment.

The gift came from investment counselor Kevin Fitzpatrick, who explained, “I thought this was a great opportunity for me to give more. I am so blessed and fortunate," adding that Chytil's situation “hits really close to home.”
