This Father Has 34 Kids With 17 Different Women, and He's Getting His Own Show

Jay Williams of Atlanta has 34 kids with 17 different women — and no, that's not a typo. When appearing on OWN's Iyanla: Fix My Life to discuss his family situation, Williams claimed that he'd "probably have 200 kids" if not for condoms, and that he won't get a vasectomy "because he doesn't want one."

Now, after widespread interest in Williams's life, the father of 34 is getting his own TV show on the network. In it, Williams "will try to mend the relationships with his family, children and the many mothers of his children. [Iyanla] Vanzant will appear as a mentor to try to help him and guide him along the way," reports Atlanta Daily World. There's no question that the show, much like others that focus on large families, will garner plenty of attention.

Watch Williams discuss his family life above, then let us know how you feel about his upcoming series. Do you think that it will spread awareness about birth control, self-control, and familial responsibility, or is it just irresponsible entertainment?
