The Father/Daughter Wedding Video You Don't Want to Miss

Many little girls plan their picture-perfect wedding day and then wait several years to bring the dream to life. For Josie Metz, however, her special day arrived a few years early. Josie's father, Jim, who suffers from pancreatic cancer, wanted to do something memorable for his daughter's 11th birthday — the last one he is likely to celebrate with her. He enlisted the help of his wife, Grace, and California-based photographer Lindsey Villatoro, who provides photo sessions to terminally ill clients. They settled on a wedding theme in order for Jim and Josie to experience the special moment of a father walking his girl down the aisle. After procuring flowers, desserts, a ring, and a dress, the big day arrived. The only thing left was to tell Josie.

"She was a little bit overwhelmed when her mom picked her up from school and told her," Lindsey tells The Huffington Post. "Later she said, 'This is the best day of my life.' She was very glad and excited to have these moments."
