Little Girl Airs Her Major Problem With Lego

While companies like Goldieblox promote girl power with their toys, some are still encouraging girls to shop until they drop and look pretty in pink. No one is more upset by this than the girls who are supposed to play with these toys, and one tot is taking action. After seeing what Lego had to offer, Charlotte Benjamin is asking the company to alter its girls' line. The 7-year-old is upset that the girl characters in the Lego Friends line, "sit at home, go to the beach, and shop" while the boys, "went on adventures, worked, saved people, and had jobs, even swam with sharks." She wants the company to do away with the gender stereotypes and let the girl minifigs have some fun.
