The Three Habits That Are Hurting Your Teen

Every so often, teens do some not-so-healthy things like binging on junk food or experimenting with drugs. Their most harmful habits, however, occur often and and in your own home. A recent study found that several everyday activities are taking an equally large toll on teen's psychological health. The activities, which included high media use for nonwork purpose, low exercise levels, and lack of sleep, are often overlooked when looking into the causes of psychological problems. Of the 12,000 teens who took part in the study, 29 percent participated in these activities and also showed strong signs of suicide ideation or attempts, depression, anxiety, and hyperactivity.
