Wichita High School Principal Honored in Best Senior Prank Ever

Next time a student asks Sherman Padgett to hold a bucket, we bet he isn't going to think twice. The Wichita, KS, high school principal has seen his fair share of senior pranks, but this time the joke was on him – his students weren't planning on soaking him with water balloons or anything of the sort. They wanted to shower him with compliments.

"Thank you for making high school the best years of my life."
"You've made my first year experience in America one that I will always fondly remember."

The brainchild behind the project, senior Emily Jones, just wanted to do something nice for the man who's helmed their school since they started there. And that's just what they did. "[I] became a little emotional on some of them," Padgett said. "I kind of read them and thought, 'Man, this is better than a paycheck. This is why I do the things that I do.'"
