We're in awe of Lesia Pettijohn and after watching this video, you will be too! The Houston-area mom gave birth to her third child, a boy, in the family minivan en route to their birthing center, and her husband, Jonathan, captured the entire event on his GoPro without ever stopping the car!

[WARNING: The video shows childbirth — though no nudity — and may be considered graphic by some.]

The couple had been sitting in about 45 minutes worth of traffic when the video begins. Lesia can be heard worrying about giving birth in the car when her water breaks and then things progress very quickly. Two minutes later, Lesia says she feels the head emerging and Jonathan asks if he should pull over. She tells him to keep driving, and two seconds later, she delivers her baby boy — all the while Jonathan is driving and filming!

"The only reason I would pull over is if there is something wrong that needed to be dealt with immediately," Jonathan later told KHOU-TV in Houston.

He goes on to joke about whether the birthing center will still charge them when they arrive (they did — as Jonathan shared in a YouTube comment; the center still helped Lesia deliver her placenta and with her postpartum care). The couple named the baby, who weighed in at 10 pounds, Josiah. They also have 1- and 2-year-old daughters at home.

I don't know about you, but I don't know that I could have A) remained as calm as Lesia did about her circumstances while delivering the baby, or B) refrained from socking my husband for filming and driving during the event. But once it was over, I'm pretty sure I'd be thrilled to have that video! Congrats, Pettijohns!
