Infographic: Which Birthdays are Most Rare?

Most kids born on Christmas hate sharing their birthday with the holiday. But as it turns out, being born on Christmas has a hidden perk: Dec. 25th babies are much less likely to share their special day with a friend or family member.

Andy Kriebel of VizWiz has created an infographic based on data from NYTimes.com which reveals the most and least common days of the year to be born. Other than February 29th, which only occurs once every 4 years, Christmas is the least common day to be born. The ten most common birthdays are all in September, which means the most likely time to conceive is sometime around Christmas and New Year's.

To find out how common your child's birthday is, head over to the Huffington Post to see the full infographic. Find the month of your child's birthday along the top, then move down until you find the day of their birthday on the left. The darker the square is, the more common that birthday is. If you click on the square you can see where that date ranks among all 365 days of the year.
