Parents, Brace Yourselves: The Land of Frozen Is Coming to Disney Cruises

Stop planning your next vacation, because this news is going to change everything — Disney Cruise Line is going Frozen. Starting this Summer, all-inclusive cruising with Disney is going to be even more fun thanks to Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and friends. According to the Disney Parks blog, select cruises headed to Canada and Europe will feature a dedicated "Frozen Fun" day during which the entire ship is transformed into the snowy kingdom of Arendelle. That's not all, though!

You no longer have to visit one of the Disney parks for your kids to meet their favorite Frozen characters, because Olaf and friends will signing autographs and taking photos with cruisegoers. They'll also be performing special songs and scenes as part of the "Disney Dreams" stage show that's performed on every Disney cruise. Perhaps most exciting, though, are the new dedicated excursions available to vacationers headed to Norway or Castaway Cay (a Disney-owned island in the Bahamas).

"Disney Magic cruisers will have the opportunity to join exciting new Port Adventures that bring this fairytale setting to life," the Parks blog says of Summer cruises headed to Norway. "One signature adventure ashore in Alesund, Norway, created exclusively for Disney Cruise Line, will immerse guests in the splendor and charm of Norway, with the help of Anna and Elsa, in an enchanting storybook village." Bahaman vacationers enjoying a beach day at Castaway Cay can get in on the Frozen fun, too — a frozen drink station called "Olaf's Summertime Freeze Bar" will offer guests chilly treats inspired by their favorite film starting this Summer.
