Prince George's First Birthday Is Immortalized — Lego Style

Though it may be a while until Prince George is playing with actual Legos, that didn't stop Legoland Windsor from fantasizing about the royal heir's first birthday party — interlocking-brick style. The UK outlet for the tot-friendly amusement park couldn't let Prince William and Dutchess Kate's first baby's birthday pass without a celebration fit for a future king, so they created a royal garden party at Buckingham Palace made entirely out of Legos.

There are balloons and presents, party hats, a cake, and even a high chair for the guest of honor (it took 15 bricks just to make him in his seat). Look closely and you'll see that the party attendees include the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attending to the birthday boy, as well as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, both sets of grandparents — Prince William and Dutchess Camilla and Michael and Carole Middleton — and the Prince's Aunt Pippa Middleton and Uncle Prince Harry.

This isn't the first time Legoland Windsor has celebrated the Royal Family. Their Miniland Royal Family area is one of the park's most popular exhibits, so, "when planning how to celebrate Prince George's first birthday, throwing him a royal garden party seemed a great way to mark the occasion." The exhibit will be up throughout the Summer, so if you're planning a trip overseas, you'll want to check it out. Just don't give the birthday boy a set of Legos quite yet — the company's Duplo line is better suited for toddlers! Read on to see all of the fun details!
