"This was the first party I hosted at our home since we moved in last Summer," Dina says." I was pregnant at the time and had about 400 boxes (not an exaggeration) to unpack. Now that I've been able to get my head somewhat above water, I loved being able to plan a get-together and make use of my favorite feature in our old house: the wraparound porch! A luncheon on the porch on a perfect Summer day with your best girlfriends is about as good as it gets in my book."
"The table is actually the desk from my old office. It doesn't fit anywhere in our current home and has been sitting in the basement, so I was excited when I could pull it out for this. The chairs are just a hodgepodge of some vintage aluminum faux-bamboo numbers I scored on Craigslist a few years ago and my kitchen chair (that I redid). I added in a big mass of honeycomb tissue balls in coordinating party colors, and this little spot started looking mighty festive!"
