New Monopoly Piece Announced

It's time for the Monopoly fans in your house to say goodbye to the iron!

Hasbro, the maker of the classic board game Monopoly, has announced that the trusty iron token will soon disappear from the game. As CNN reports, Hasbro invited fans to vote via the Monopoly Facebook page on which token to drop, and whether to add a robot, diamond ring, cat, guitar, or helicopter in its place. The result? Beginning in mid- to late-2013, the classic game will include a cute little cat.
