Pregnant Mom and Her Unborn Baby Survive Lightning

A pregnant woman and her unborn child survived being struck by lightning Saturday afternoon. Mom-to-be Kelly Lough was standing outside her home in Northside, OH, holding an umbrella while her husband was pulling the car out of the driveway when it happened.

"There was a huge flash and just this big boom and I like felt it jolt up my arm and out my left arm and out my toes and the umbrella flew" described Lough.

Lough's rubber soled shoes are credited with saving both her's and her unborn daughter's lives.
