Vivienne Jolie-Pitt isn't the only kid who will be getting into the Maleficent spirit this Spring. While Angelina Jolie's 5-year-old daughter is making a cameo appearance in her mom's upcoming flick about Sleeping Beauty's "Mistress of All Evil," thanks to a just-announced collaboration between Disney and Stella McCartney, kids everywhere can embody the film's sinister looks.
The Maleficent by Stella McCartney Kids capsule collection will include eight styles for boys and girls, including princess dresses and sandals, as well as gritty t-shirts and sneakers, all inspired by the malevolent nature of the story. McCartney told WWD she was drawn to the project because "there is a bit of a darkness to 'Maleficent' which can be really scary at times but at the same time visually brilliant."
Timed to coincide with the movie's release, the collection will hit Stella McCartney stores, Disney stores, and online at the end of April. Expect the pieces to run from about $75 to $185. We're already loving the headgear and footwear that we see — we can't wait to see the rest of the designs!
