Storq Flies Into the Maternity Clothing Market to Make a Special Delivery

The golden rule when it comes to maternity clothes is to be yourself, let your own sense of style come through, and do so as comfortably as possible. Unfortunately, that's easier said than done. While companies like Hatch Collection have launched over the past few years to give fashion-forward moms-to-be some more trend-worthy maternity options, there aren't many companies out there doing so.

"Listening to pregnant friend after pregnant friend passionately discuss maternity fashion, or lack thereof, I felt strongly that there was an opportunity to create a maternity brand that made it easy for women to preserve their own identity and style throughout pregnancy," San Francisco-based Courtney Klein tells us. That's how the now-pregnant entrepreneur came up with the idea for Storq, the new online maternity basics emporium. "Our goal with Storq is to empower moms-to-be by providing an online resource for maternity essentials that are equal parts practical, accessible, and stylish."

The introductory Storq collection is made up of the basics Klein believes pregnant women need to feel comfortable. Leggings, T-shirt dresses, skirts, and tanks are made of soft modal and spandex, they're seamless and tagless, and they come in both black and white, so they can easily mix in with the rest of your wardrobe. The products are available on their own or in bundles with a tank top, leggings, t-shirt dress, and skirt for $195.

"At the end of the day, pregnant women just want to feel like themselves," Klein says. "We'd like to make that a little easier." Read on to see the entire Storq collection.
