Taylor Swift's Latest Charitable Act Will Bring You to Tears

For weeks, Jalene Salinas's family has been helping the 4-year-old check off items on her bucket list. The San Antonio tot is in a race against time as she battles an aggressive form of terminal brain cancer. But it looked like one item on her list — dancing with Taylor Swift to her hit song "Shake It Off" — would be left unchecked until the Twitter-verse got wind of her plight.

Over the past few weeks, #ShakeItOffJalene has been trending in hopes of attracting Taylor's attention. And on Monday, as Jalene's health took a dramatic turn for the worse, the chart-topping singer got wind of the online campaign. A few hours later, Taylor was FaceTiming with the family (Jalene's worsening condition left her in significant pain, unable to speak much during the call).

"I'm so sorry you're having a bad night," Taylor told Jalene. "I'm so happy to talk to you though and I'm so happy you like 'Shake It Off.' You look beautiful tonight, you really do. You're just as pretty as your pictures."

The 20-minute call brought happiness and tears to the family.

"You completed her wish list," Jalene's mom told Taylor. "We can check everything off and as her mom it just, it means the world to me that she got to do and see and everything is checked off now. It means so much to me that you reached out to us."

Chalk this one up to another good deed by everyone's favorite do-good Grammy winner!
