BAM! A Seriously Super Superhero Staff Appreciation Week Party

I don't know about you, but I'm thinking it's time I upped my game for some of the most underappreciated people in our kids' lives: their teachers. My inspiration: Maegan Birr, owner of Simply Styled Home and Scrapaholics. She styled and created the printables for this superhero staff appreciation party that not only was absolutely amazing but also spanned an entire week. Maegan was inspired simply by her admiration for teachers; "I have such admiration and respect for teachers. I could never do their job. To me, they are the best superheroes! I want to show appreciation to them in every way I can." And she sure did! Scroll on to see the fantastic party. Source: Scrapaholics

The parents made "boxed" lunches for every staff member at the school. Maegan included a questionnaire with the invitations asking each of the staff's likes and dislikes, and then she forwarded the answers to the parents who signed up to make lunches. Source: Scrapaholics

Wednesday: Supercharged Breakfast

Maegan included drink orders with the ZAP! Breakfast Invitation and asked that the teachers and staff return them the Thursday before Staff Appreciation Week. They had the choice of a supercharged smoothie (berry smoothie) or a drink from Starbucks. The drink orders were printed on 8-1/2-by-11-inch sticker page and cut to size. Source: Scrapaholics

Along with the soup, the staff was served up a dose of awesome with some fresh fruit and water. Maegan especially liked the "I Think You Are SOUPer" stickers, which served as napkin rings, and the "Emergency Hydration" drinks. The back of the water bottles said, "Super powers will activate within 10 minutes of drinking." All the party printables can be purchased from the SimpyStyledHome Etsy shop. Source: Scrapaholics

On the Friday before the party week, the students were sent home with "I Think You Are Super Because . . . " pictures to color for their teachers. On Monday, the students presented the pictures and notes to their teachers, and the room moms came in and put them on the classroom doors along with the 8-by-10-inch superhero photo.
