To us, April showers bring May flowers, but for high school seniors, this month brings about something more important — college acceptance letters. Noah Van Vooren never thought this was a letter he would open. The Wisconsin teen was born with Down syndrome, and doctors told his parents that he would never walk or talk, let alone attend high school then college. Now, 18 years later, Noah is proving those doctors wrong. Earlier this week, the Little Chute High School senior opened a letter from Edgewood College, offering him admittance in Fall 2014. Noah will be a part of Cutting Edge, a four-year program for students with intellectual developmental disabilities. Upon opening the letter, Noah shouted for joy and pumped his fist in a victorious style. After watching the video, you'll want to do the same. Front Page
