A Hilarious Twist on the "Thank You, Mom" Campaign

May 8 2014 - 8:58am

We've all shed a tear or two over Procter & Gamble's moving "Thank You, Mom" commercials [1], but this new ad will make you cry for a different reason. Comedian Johanna Stein created a parody of the famous Olympic ads to promote her upcoming book How Not to Calm a Child on a Plane [2] ($13, originally $20). The kids in Stein's video thank their moms for all they do but with an emphasis on their not-so-motherly traits, such as swearing and telling little white lies. Watch the clever video above, and see how long it takes you to laugh.
