For One Family, a Father's Day Dream Comes True

Father's Day may still be more than a week away, but one deserving family in Canada had the opportunity to celebrate early, thanks to WestJet and Ronald McDonald House Charities. Marc Grimard's family has been living separately on account of his son Joel's congenital heart condition. Joel and his mother were relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, for the child's treatments, while dad Marc and older brother Mattieu remained in Saskatchewan.

Marc, a city transit worker, came to work one day to discover that WestJet employee Medel Villena had been training for his job so that he could take a week off to reunite with his family in Edmonton. The results of their surprise visit were captured in this heartwarming video. This isn't the first time that WestJet has made unassuming peoples' dreams become a reality, and it's ready to do it again.
