The World's Largest Family (Video)

The world's largest family lives in rural India, in one giant home, all together. 39 wives, 86 children, and, to date, 35 grandchildren share living quarters and meals, and attend a local school. Their family structure is part of their religious sect's teachings, but reporters are criticizing the family's increasing size in a nation that faces overpopulation and crowding. One source says, "One evening meal can see them pluck 30 chickens, peel 132lb of potatoes and boil up to 220lb of rice."
