Bode Miller and His 3-Year-Old Son Practice Floating After His Daughter's Tragic Drowning

Just nine weeks after losing their 19-month-old daughter in a tragic drowning accident, Bode and Morgan Miller are making it their mission to bring water safety education to families across the globe, and they're starting with their very own children. On Friday, Morgan shared videos to her Instagram Stories of her husband practicing a safe "floating competition" with their 3-year-old son Nash. Morgan thanked ISR Grand Rapids (Infant Swimming Resource), a provider of "survival swimming lessons for infants and young children," alongside the footage of her family.

Prior to Bode and Nash's sweet time in the pool, Morgan reflected on the last time she held her baby girl with a gut-wrenching photo. "I wish I could have one more day to hold you, but until that day comes, continue to work through me and give me the strength to bring awareness, my love," she wrote. "I told you as I held you in this moment that you could still change the world, you could still move mountains. Every step we take forward is because of you and Levi. Your footprint will forever be left on this world. I love you, my baby girl."

Bode and Morgan have been incredibly open about their mission of spreading water safety awareness since their daughter Emeline's shocking death at a neighbor's pool party. "We are inspired to make our baby girls memory go forth and help prevent as many drownings as possible," Morgan wrote in an Instagram post explaining they would be donating the raised funds to related causes.
